When traveling through Mexico, I literally saw crosses everywhere. On the streets, on buildings, in art. It is of such religious and cultural importance for Mexicans in general. Crosses carry the most contradictory meaning, as it refers to both hope as death in a very religious manner. Yet although its traditional and religious references, you can see it all around you in modern days. So after my journey to Mexico, I knew that a cross design had to be part of my collection based on this trip.
